| (This is my first venture into the blogging world. I'm going to give it a try...but I'm not totally sure I will continue. Let's just see how it goes...:) )
I had sushi on Sunday night. It was AMAZING. My friend invited me over to her house and little did I know that a real sushi chef would be there preparing the whole meal for six of us. We had a feast. As I was reflecting on it today, I realized that the meal was very significant on many levels:
1. It was the first time I've had sushi in Sherbrooke. (I've lived here for 4 years!)
2. The sushi chef is from Nepal. He's the first Nepalese I've ever met.(Craziness.)
3. I made 3 new friends (who all speak English!)
4. I had a great time. (What a great surprise from the Lord. My Sundays are usually quite routine)
Seriously, I woke up this morning ready to face the world. It's crazy how sushi and a little fellowship will encourage us. God is good. | | |
